Description
This work was part of an advertising project for Champion Paper. A dozen artist-designers with international reputations, including Peter Saville, Seymour Chwast, and Michael Bierut, were commissioned to design a letter. Woody Pirtle was assigned the letters T, X, and Y.
The artist Paula Scher was the art director for the project.
Do not confuse this fine serigraph with later-printed unsigned prints.
This work makes a great gift for anyone who loves great design and great Twentieth Century graphic designers, and not only for people whose names begin with the letter Y!
