Sunken Treasure

$2,250.00

Description

This is one of Gabor Peterdi’s masterpieces. Examples of this work are held in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art and the National Gallery of Art. It is a complex work—enormously interesting to view and interestingly created: Peterdi used etching for the background and engraving for the other elements, and placed the four colors by stenciling. This work very much reflects Peterdi’s learning at Atelier 17.
