Description

William Gropper was one of America’s greatest social realist artists.  He made many images of lawyers—but whether celebrating or skewering is not always clear.

A copy of this print is held in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and a later-printed copy (not from the original edition and signed by the Artist’s daughter on behalf of his estate) in the collection of the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
