Description

In the last years of the Fifteenth Century, German artist Albrecht Dürer created a set of fifteen woodcut prints which he called Apocalypse with Pictures.  The last of that series was The Angel with the Key of the Bottomless Pit.

From about 1960 to 1970, Eugrammia Press in London printed less than a dozen reproductions of Fifteenth and Sixteenth Century volumes.  In 1964, Eugrammia published The Angel with the Key of the Bottomless Pit.  The Angel is a collotype.
