Description
The publisher Editions du Griffon has been producing fine art prints for seventy years. Victor Vasarely was a firm believer in making art accessible for all, and he believed equally firmly that “originals don’t count for more than their reproductions”. Vasarely therefore worked hand-in-hand with Editions du Griffon in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, to produce very high-quality héliogravure prints of his works.
The power of héliogravure is evident in this print, Koska Rev, from the Progressions 3 portfolio. From Vasarely’s 1968 painting.
Bearing a gallery sticker en verso from the Concept Art Gallery, Pittsburgh.
