Description
Hiram Campbell Merrill often visited Vermont, where his mother was born, and where he found inspiration for his work. This gorgeous watercolor is from one of Merrill’s Vermont trips, this a view of South Ryegate, hugging the border with New Hampshire just west of the White Mountain National Forest and about 150 miles north of Boston.
Works by Merrill are scarce.
