Description

A joyful depiction of island life. Alfred Bendiner retired from the practice of architecture in 1961. Just before his retirement he worked as an archaeological draftsman on a University of Pennsylvania excavation in Tikal-Tikal, Guatemala. It would have been on that trip that Bendiner painted this work.
