Ruth Becker is a self-taught artist. She is best-known for her papercut ketubahs, which she has created for thousands of clients, and are held in private collections worldwide. Ruth’s work is clean, contemporary, and sophisticated—complex yet uncomplicated. Balancing intricacy and structure, Ruth uses precise geometries and spontaneous, organic forms to create timeless, well-composed patterns and designs. Becker has lived in the D.C. area her entire life except for fifteen years in Israel.
