Richard Aeschlimann

Richard François Aeschlimann is a Swiss painter, engraver, writer, and illustrator of numerous books.

Aeschlimann is a prominent figure in the arts in Switzerland not only because of his own work but also because he and his wife Barbara have run the Plexus Gallery and the Maison des Arts since 1976, showing the work of both emerging artists and leading European artists.

Aeschlimann has been exhibiting his work since at least 1972 and continued to show during the 21st century, including shows at Arlaud Museum in Lausanne and the Neuchâtel Museum of Art and History.  He is known for his powerful and interesting works, as seen in the striking surrealistic works we offer.
